The Chico Permaculture Guild is a local group of gardeners, builders, artists and chefs who have been meeting several times per year since 2009. We are plumbers, teachers, engineers, parents and more. We are all people who want to know more about how to design, build and live in a society that works with the natural cycles of our planet and to generate a future that is healthy, peaceful and secure.
We gather several times per year at the Chico Library (with summers off) for educational topics and discussions, a potluck and share the surplus swap. We also facilitate Earthshed PermaBlitzes. Learn more about what a PermaBlitz is here.
The Chico Permaculture Guild (CPG) is an education program of Earthshed Solutions. Earthshed Solutions is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in July 2015 by actively engaged CPG members. We took the next step in creating an educational organization dedicated to empowering our community with the skills necessary to be responsible stewards of the Earth.
Our goal as an education program of Earthshed Solutions is to facilitate the outreach of permaculture education at NO COST to our community in order to put permaculture knowledge directly into the hands of our community.
